Tranquil 160-acre oasis in Central Alberta (20 minutes west of Sylvan Lake).
A working farm seamlessly blending recreation and agriculture.
Featuring pastures, forests, rivers, and a loveable menagerie: 50+ laying hens, 600+ cast of farm animals! Everything to laying hens, meat chickens, farm cats, a loyal dog and 25+ majestic Highland cows!

Where Nature Meets Curiosity!
Our programs foster child-centered play, inquiry, and wonder through immersive outdoor experiences.
Unencumbered by traditional classrooms, we explore the valley, rivers, mountains, and farm, embracing the elements - rain, snow, ice, and mud - as our teachers.
WILD SCHOOL ENROLLMENT REQUEST
1. Complete the enrollment application request form for your chosen program
2. Submit non-refundable deposit of $100*
3. Homeschooling From The Lake will contact you to confirm your child's spot and provide further payment instructions, deadlines and arrangements
- Should a spot not be available we will notify you in that email. We will happily place your child on a waitlist -
REFUND POLICY
Refunds and Cancellations:
- We will reschedule 1 cancelled day (weather, etc) per season.
- Withdrawals requested by families incur a 2-week non-refundable fee.
- Single day withdrawals are not permitted.
Tax Receipts:
As an outdoor education program, Wild School does not issue board receipts.
Wild School on the Farm
Child-centered, nature-based learning for holistic growth and development. Our hands-on approach fosters:

Our goal: Empower your child to become a confident, compassionate, and environmentally conscious individual, prepared to thrive in an ever-changing world.
Daily themed deep dives, free land exploration, interaction with farm animals and wildlife, team building games, provided organized snack, arts and crafts and lots of hands-on learning activities to enhance our deep dive!
